William D. “Bill” Moorhead III, is the senior member of Moorhead Law Firm LLC. After growing up in Melbourne, Florida, Bill attended college at the University of Georgia, graduating in 1973 with a BBA in Accounting, summa cum laude, and in 1976 with a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law. Bill’s academic distinctions include: second honor graduate (salutatorian) of his graduating class at the University, outstanding accounting graduate of the University, three-year recipient of the Vasser Woolley Scholarship, then awarded to the top two entering law students, and member of the editorial board of the Georgia Law Review.
John M. Moorhead is a native of Albany, Georgia, where he graduated from high school at Deerfield-Windsor School in 1997 after attending the school for 13 years. After graduation, John attended college at the University of Georgia where he graduated in 2001 with a BBA in Finance, summa cum laude with honors.
Salima "Sali" Moorhead Duling is licensed in both Virginia and Georgia and began practicing with Moorhead Law Firm LLC in 2006. In October 2010, she formed Duling Law Firm PLC with her husband, Jeffrey A. Duling, in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Though she now primarily practices with Duling Law Firm PLC, her work for Moorhead Law Firm is still a substantial portion of her practice. Her practice focuses on complex estate planning matters with particular emphasis on special needs and Medicaid planning.
