Salima "Sali" Moorhead Duling is licensed in both Virginia and Georgia and began practicing with Moorhead Law Firm LLC in 2006. In October 2010, she formed Duling Law Firm PLC with her husband, Jeffrey A. Duling, in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Her practice focuses on complex estate planning matters with particular emphasis on special needs and Medicaid planning.

Sali received her Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude in Classics at the University of Georgia. While an undergraduate, she spent a term at Oxford University studying Classics and English, which led to her induction into Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars.

She graduated from law school at Regent University in Virginia, where she received a Regent Scholar Award, an Academic Merit Award, and a scholarship to attend a summer program at Strasbourg, France, studying the origins of Western legal tradition.

After graduating from law school, she spent another three years at the University of Georgia pursuing post-graduate work in legal rhetoric. During that time, she taught composition at the university.

Sali is very active in her church, Hillcrest Baptist Church, where she teaches Sunday School. She is a member of the Mechanicsville, Virginia Chapter of Rotary International, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Christian Legal Society. She has also volunteered her time to the Dominion School for Autism.

Sali and her husband Jeff live in Hanover, Virginia with their hound dogs Puddleglum and Emma.
